Pernille Pfeiffer

I am currently undertaking a 10-months internship at the UWA Oceans Institute and the School of Plant Biology, where I will be working in a variety of projects together with the Wernberg team. My objective for the internship is to learn about the organisation, the culture of the workplace, work environment, safety, quality systems and to improve my existing laboratory skills and learn technical methods.

Prior to my internship, I have taken three semesters at ‘CPH-Business Laboratory and Environment’ in Denmark, with a mixture of theory and laboratory work. This includes the topics microbiology, protein chemistry, synthetic chemistry and genetic engineering.
