Long term changes in sea urchin abundance and community composition in temperate subtidal rocky reef habitats (Master Thesis)

I am a Master of Marine Biology student at the University of Western Australia. My research aims to quantify the current state of sea urchin populations in the south-west region and, using long-term historical data, assess how species composition has changed over a 30-year period encompassing significant marine heatwave events. My survey area samples across a 5 degree latitudinal gradient, with a view to inform how key grazer populations are responding to environmental change across the extent of their range.
